Introducing Libertad Melody Huilca Mendoza



This past week, we interviewed one of our 4th grade students at Colegio Luis Vallejos Santoni.

Q: How old are you Melody?

M: I’m 8 Years old.

Q: What is your favorite sport?

M: Volleyball

Q: What sport do you think you play best?

M: Volleyball

Q: What is your least favorite sport?

M: Fútbol (Soccer)

Q: Is there a sport that you would like to learn how to play better?

M: Basketball. It’s the hardest for me.

Q: How long have you participated in Chicas Dinámicas?

M: For a very long time, Profe. since last year.

Q: How did you hear about Chicas Dinámicas?

M: I heard about it from my two cousins, Luz Alely and Luz Briset, who were coming to the classes.

Q: Why do you like coming to Chicas Dinámicas?

M: I like it because we learn a lot of fun sports. We also do really fun things like play roba cola and other activities.

Q: Would you recommend Chicas Dinámicas to another friend?

M: Yes, I like inviting my friends to come. I invited my other cousin to start coming to the classes.

Q: Do you have any pets?

M: Yes, I have a cat named Luna and six dogs. The parents are named Pulga and Shadow and they have four puppies.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in Peru this weekend, where would you go?

M: I would go to Lima because they have a beach and really pretty houses.

M: red and yellow

Peruvian dish?

M: pollo broaster (a type of fried chicken) and pizza


M: Reggaeton and cumbia (a Latin dance style with Afro influences, characterized by short sliding steps)


M: Lectoricto (a collection of short children’s stories)

Course in school?

M: Mathematics because it’s the easiest for me.

Place in Peru?

M: My favorite place is Puerto Maldonado because I like going to the river there and I also like going to the pool.
